This deep house mix came together after I shot this photograph while messing around with my film camera on a bank holiday in Shoreditch, East London. I sent the roll off to be scanned and forgot about it for months. When it finally came back, this shot hit different, instantly pulling me into a dreamlike state.

Blurred figures, streaks of motion, bold posters fading into the haze, like a city moving too fast while you find your own rhythm. There’s a groove in the emptiness, a smooth solitude where you can drift, unbothered, lost in the moment.
